Women’s History Month is being celebrated at Cal State Fullerton with ongoing special lectures and exhibits.
The events include:
* Through March 31: Poster art titled “African Americans: Women of Hope” will be on display in the University Library, third floor.
* Wednesday noon: Lecture on women in Disney films by child development professor Ellen N. Junn, Langsdorf Hall, Room 906.
* Thursday, 1 p.m.: Guitar performance by Jane Robin in the University Center Garden Cafe.
* Friday noon: Author Elizabeth George will speak at the Fullerton Marriott on campus. Reservations are required; cost is $20 per person. To reserve a seat, call (714) 773-2590.
* Monday: Kim Campbell, who was Canada’s first female prime minister and is now its consul general, will speak in the Ruby Gerontology Center at 4 and 7:30 p.m.
Most events are free and the public is invited. The university is located at 800 State College Blvd.
