Robinson, Portland Are at Zero
When asked about the last time he had been shut out, Portland’s Cliff Robinson simply scratched his head and cracked a smile.
“It’s been a while,” Robinson said.
Robinson went scoreless and missed all seven of his shots against the Washington Bullets Saturday night in Landover, Md., including a 30-footer that would have tied the score with two seconds left, in the Trail Blazers’ 108-104 loss.
The loss ended the NBA’s longest current winning streak at 11 games and was Portland’s first since a 96-95 defeat in overtime at New York on Feb. 26.

Milwaukee 80, New York 79--Sherman Douglas won a jump ball from Charlie Ward with 1.1 seconds left, knocking the ball all the way down court to preserve the Bucks’ victory at Milwaukee.
