2 Suspects Arrested in Man’s Stabbing
A Simi Valley man was injured Saturday night after he was stabbed in the shoulder and leg during an argument, police said.
According to police, Daniel Rodriguez, 18, was walking to his residence in the 1200 block of Erringer Road in Simi Valley when two men confronted him about 10:15 p.m. An argument and struggle ensued and one of the suspects stabbed Rodriguez.
He was taken to Simi Valley Hospital, where he was treated for minor wounds and released.
Police later arrested two individuals suspected in the attack. Marlon Zuniga, 19, and a 15-year-old male were arrested shortly after 12 a.m. Sunday while walking down Sycamore Street near the Los Angeles Avenue intersection.
Police suspect the stabbing was gang-related.
