Free Health Clinic Is Set at School Today
A free health clinic will take place from 9 a.m. to noon today at James A. Whitaker Elementary School.
The clinic offers breast cancer detection education, immunizations, dental examinations, tuberculosis screenings and blood pressure checks.
Developmental screenings of speech, hearing, vision and motor skills will be offered for toddlers up to 36 months from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
The clinic is sponsored by 30 agencies citywide and will be staffed by representatives from Buena Park School District, Children’s Hospital of Orange County and Southern California School of Optometry, among others.
