Save Beach From the RV Hordes
I read with much concern that our county supervisors are seriously considering converting the last day use beach on the Rincon into still more RV parking/camping only. That two-mile stretch of beach is enjoyed all year. During the summer this pristine beach offers local families and tourists an area which is not cluttered by the trappings of a beach park.
RV accommodations along the Rincon already have a big share of our county and state beaches. There can be no good reason to further convert this “sand belt” for the exclusive use of campers at the expense of those who just want to go to the beach for the day.
