IRVINE — Edison International’s Edison Mission Energy unit said Thursday it has become sole owner of the Loy Yang B Power Station near Melbourne, Australia, purchasing the remaining 49% stake held by the State Electricity Commission of Victoria, Australia. Financial terms weren’t disclosed. Edison had acquired the 51% stake nearly five years ago.
