Pepperdine right-hander Steve Schenewerk was selected to the Freshman All-American team by Collegiate baseball. Schenewerk was 7-1 with five complete games and a 3.81 earned-run average. Matt Riordan, a Loyola Marymount outfielder from Westlake High, received honorable mention.
