McLeish Won’t Coach High School Soccer
Southern California College men’s soccer Coach Dave McLeish has changed his mind and will not double as Marina High boys’ coach, he said Friday.
“I reevaluated what it would take to do a really good job and decided I was coming up short on the energy level,” McLeish said. “I decided that there just isn’t enough time to do both.”
McLeish said he would continue to teach Spanish at Marina.
The Vikings also are looking for a girls’ soccer coach after the resignation of Jorge Valenzuela this spring.
