* The 1997 American Open Professional Figure Skating Championships continue tonight and Sunday at the Pickwick Ice Arena in Burbank.

Initial rounds took place Friday, with technical programs scheduled for 7 to 11 p.m. tonight and creative programs from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday.

Admission is $15 tonight and Sunday night.
