The Piranhas (1-5) had a chance to tie the score in the last second of the game, but Ian Howfield missed a 28-yard field goal attempt.

The final score for the Mustangs (4-2) came on the heels of a Piranha touchdown that fullback Darren Williams scored when he ran it in from one-yard out to give Anaheim a 44-40 lead with 1:15 left to play.
