Recycling Program Offers Scholarships
Teens may join the effort to promote recycling and earn a scholarship at the same time.
The Recycle Placentia Teen Team is open to high school students who live in Placentia and are 15 to 18 year old. Scholarships will be awarded at the end of the 1997-98 school year.
Participants must commit a minimum of 20 hours of service toward recycling awareness programs, such as Placentia’s Earth Week run or community events.
Applications will be accepted through Thursday.
