Body Found in Car’s Trunk Is Chino Teen
A body that was found earlier this week in the trunk of a gray Nissan off Ortega Highway was identified Wednesday as that of Ryan McCoy, 18, of Chino, the Orange County coroner said.
The car was parked at the San Juan Campground, in an unincorporated area southeast of San Juan Capistrano. A woman noticed that the car had been parked there for days and told deputies that she smelled a foul odor.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the case as a homicide.
