Victim of Gang Shooting Treated
NORTH HOLLYWOOD — An unidentified male victim was treated and released for minor gunshot wounds Friday evening after being shot in what police called a feud between two gangs.
Los Angeles Police Department Det. Rocky Sherwood said the victim was taken to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills after being shot once in the upper torso at Sherman Way and Lankershim Boulevard.
Sherwood said three members of one gang were coming out of a liquor store when three or four members of the other gang began shooting from the southwest corner to the northeast corner.
He declined to give names, saying the investigation was continuing.
