Plays to Celebrate Project’s Activities
The Virginia Avenue Project celebrates its work with at-risk youth with “Five Years in Five One-Acts . . . and an Encore” benefit Sunday at 4 p.m. at UCLA’s Little Theatre.
The project is hosted by Robby Benson, Amy Brenneman, Sharon Gless and John Glover with celebrity performers including Roma Maffia (“The Profiler”) and Richard Coca (“Selena”).
It is composed of five programs that team the youths with professional artists to help the students develop confidence, poise and the ability to express themselves.
