Is ‘Conspiracy Theory’ a Baseball Movie?

I’m confused. I keep hearing from [baseball representatives] how the idea of realignment is getting high approval ratings from fans. And yet, every single baseball fan I know--and I know plenty--simply despises the idea, is horrified by it.

Could it possibly be that the baseball owners are basing their enthusiasm for the realignment scheme solely on economic considerations, saving a few bucks while breaking the hearts and alienating the minds of every true baseball fan? Naw! Even this current crop of owners couldn’t be that stupid. Could they?
