Man, 34, Found Stabbed to Death
VAN NUYS — A 34-year-old man was fatally stabbed in an apartment building near Sepulveda Boulevard and Leadwell Street, authorities said Saturday.
Julio Lopez suffered stab wounds to the body Friday night and was pronounced dead at the scene in the 7300 block of Sepulveda Boulevard, said Det. Steve Fisk of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Van Nuys Division.
Residents reported the stabbing to police at 9 p.m., Fisk said. When police arrived, they found the body inside the apartment building.
No weapon was recovered, Fisk said, and no suspects have been arrested.
Fisk would not release further details about the incident. The case remained under investigation late Saturday, he said.
