Highs in Mid-90s Expected This Week
The San Fernando Valley will experience a warming trend as the mercury begins to climb from the low 80s and low 90s on Monday and Tuesday into the mid-80s and mid-90s later in the week, forecasters said Sunday.
Low morning clouds will give way to partly cloudy skies in the afternoon, said John Sherwin, a meteorologist with WeatherData, which provides forecasting information to The Times.
“There won’t be a repeat performance of last week’s moderate rainfall in the Valley or heavier rainfall in the mountains and inland areas,” Sherwin predicted.
Temperatures are expected to be in the low 80s in Burbank and the mid-80s in Van Nuys and Woodland Hills today.
