Jared Hill completed six of 10 passes for 154 yards and two touchdowns and also ran for two touchdowns to lead Aliso Niguel to a 28-13 Pacific Coast League victory over Estancia at Aliso Niguel.

Hill’s play brought the Wolverines (3-5, 2-1) back from a 13-7 first-half deficit and kept their playoff hopes alive.

James Dawkins burst up the middle for a 92-yard touchdown run on the Estancia’s first play from scrimmage to give the Eagles the lead.

Aliso Niguel tied the score on the last play of the first quarter when Hill scored on a five-yard run to cap a six-play, 80-yard drive. Estancia (2-5, 0-3) took a 13-7 lead on a 40-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Mike Wolter to Manu Tanielu with 9:24 left in the half.

Aliso Niguel controlled the game from that point. Hill threw a 63-yard touchdown pass to Mike Roush midway through the second quarter as the Wolverines led, 14-13, at halftime. Rich Hada’s interception--his second of the game--led to a to two-yard touchdown run by Hill with 1:36 left in the third quarter.

Hill threw a 10-yard touchdown pass to Jason Moore with 8:09 left for a 28-13 lead.

Tanielu had five receptions for 105 yards and a touchdown in the first half, but the Aliso Niguel defense held him without a reception in the second half.
