Ingram Micro Appoints a New VP
Shelly Talbott has joined Ingram Micro Inc., a Santa Ana distributor of technology products and services, as vice president and general manager, government division. She was previously vice president of North American sales for Excalibur Technologies in Virginia. Talbott was also divisional vice president of sales and vice president of strategic alliances for Computer Associates International.

Susan Zondlo has been named vice president of sales for the Los Angeles region for Pacific Bell Mobile Services in Costa Mesa. Before joining the company, Zondlo supervised indirect distribution for SBC/Cellular One service in Washington, D.C.

Frank A. Bruni has been elected to the board of directors of Pacific LifeCorp in Newport Beach, the newly created stock holding company for Pacific Life Insurance Co. Bruni has spent 37 years with Deloitte & Touche LLP, 27 as partner.

R. Terrence Crowley has been named to newly created position of general counsel for Sunstone Hotel Investors Inc. in San Clemente. Before forming his own law firm, Crowley was a partner in and affiliated with San Francisco- and New York-based law firms.

Susan Pedersen has been appointed national corporate and incentive sales manager for the Newport Beach Conference & Visitors Bureau. Before joining the bureau, she was corporate/tour and travel sales manager for the Waterfront Hilton Beach Resort in Huntington Beach. Pedersen has also been director of sales for the Holiday Inn-Maingate in Anaheim and corporate sales manager at the Dana Point Hilton.

Daniel Pettigrew has been appointed vice president of center conversions for Caliber Collision Centers in Irvine. He will coordinate the integration of newly acquired centers into the organization. Pettigrew most recently worked with George Group Inc. in Chicago. He has also served as management consultant with Deloitte & Touche and Andersen Consulting, both in New York.

Charles K. Ligon has been appointed to the board of directors of the Earle M. Jorgensen Co., a Brea metal distributor. Ligon’s experience includes 21 years with the Aluminum Co. of America.

J. Michael Hagen has been elected to a one-year term on the board of the National Assn. of Manufacturers. Hagen is chairman and chief executive of Furon Co. in Laguna Niguel.

Ramzi E. Najm has joined CoCensys Inc., an Irvine biopharmaceutical company, as vice president of information technology, and Janet Rhodes Randolph has been named vice president of human resources. Najm was Janet R. Randolph
formerly director of information technology and data management for Paragon Biomedical Inc., and before that, vice president of information systems for IBRD-Rostrum Global Inc. Randolph joined CoCensys Robert R. Holmen
from Cordis Webster Inc., where she was vice president of human resources. She has also held similar positions at Sorin Biomedical Inc. and IBRD. In addition, Robert R. Holmen will join the company by the end of the year as general counsel. He had been corporate counsel for National Education Corp. in Irvine.

Kathleen Trier has been named partner in the Newport Beach office of Coopers & Lybrand LLP. She has been with the firm for eight years.

Jeff Goudie has been selected to oversee Maggiano’s Little Italy restaurant, scheduled to open at South Coast Plaza in late November. He previously served as managing partner at two Maggiano’s locations in Chicago.

Julie Ehmann has joined Essex Realty Management in Costa Mesa as a property manager. She previously worked at Westport Properties and as a project accountant for the Penhall Co.

Jody Pincura has been appointed marketing manager for Western Medical Centers in Santa Ana. She was formerly communications coordinator of Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center, and business development coordinator at Columbus Community Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

Kelly C. Curtis has been named director of marketing for Del Taco Inc., a Laguna Hills-based restaurant chain. She will be responsible for sales promotions, field marketing and brand development strategy. Curtis previously held marketing positions with the Little Caesars restaurant chain.

David Epstein has joined TMP Group Inc., a Santa Ana manager of investment properties, as chief financial officer. He was formerly with E&Y; Kenneth Leventhal Real Estate Group.

Bruce Kelley has been named general manager of Rieches Baird Advertising in Huntington Beach. He has been with the agency four years as a production manager. Before that, Kelley was director of production for Walker & Naylor Inc., an advertising agency in Warrington, Pa.

James B. O’Neal has joined Rutan & Tucker LLP in Costa Mesa as a partner in the corporate tax practice group. He was formerly a partner with Bryan Cave LLP in Irvine.
