2 Other Local Races in Santa Clarita
The race for the Newhall County Water District board is the most contentious local election Santa Clarita has seen in a while. But outside of that spotlight are two other races on Tuesday’s ballot that have produced far less rhetoric and drawn far less attention.
First is the William S. Hart Union High School District Governing Board contest.
Vying for three open spots are William “Bill” Dinsenbacher, Patricia A. Hanrion, Dennis V. King and Gloria Mercado.
The other is the Santa Clarita Community College District Governing Board race.
Challenging for one open seat are John Hoskinson, Richard G. Peoples and Ernie Tichenor.
Joan W. Mac Gregor is running for another community-college district seat unopposed.
