Lehman Bros. Holdings Inc. reported record third-quarter income of $197 million, or $1.30 per share, from $77 million, or 60 cents, in the year-ago quarter. . . . Atlanta-based restaurant chain Hooters, known for its scantily clad waitresses, agreed to pay $3.75 million to settle a sexual discrimination lawsuit brought by men turned down for jobs because of their gender. . . . A new design will be introduced across the U.S. early next year as PepsiCo Inc. celebrates its 100th anniversary. It features an all-blue can with the name “Pepsi” in white letters running up the side. The blue cans were introduced overseas beginning in 1996.
