Fred Krinsky; Rabbi, Political Science Professor
Fred Krinsky, 73, a rabbi who founded several congregations in Southern California and a former chairman of the Government Department at Pomona College, where he taught political science until his death. Krinsky founded Temple Solael, Temple Beth Torah and Temple Ahavat Shalom in the San Fernando Valley as well as Temple Adat Elohim in the Conejo Valley. He also was chairman of the political science department at the University of Southern California, where he taught from 1960 to 1972. In Pomona on Thursday of a heart attack.
