Man Shot in Face, Arm During Argument
SANTA ANA — A man was shot in the face and arm Saturday afternoon near an Edinger Avenue gas station, and police are searching for the gunman.
The shooting occurred about 3:40 p.m. after the gunman and victim got into a heated argument near the gas station, said Sgt. Gary Adams.
The suspect pulled out a gun and shot the victim twice before speeding away in an older model Mercedes-Benz, Adams said. The victim walked into the gas station on the 2000 block of East Edinger Avenue for help.
The victim, whose name was not released, was taken to Western Medical Center-Santa Ana. Adams said his injuries are not life-threatening.
