South Pasadena 26, La Canada 6--Anteaus Whorton scored on runs of 16 and 41 yards for the Tigers (6-2, 2-1) in a Rio Hondo League game at South Pasadena.

South Pasadena limited the Spartans (4-4, 0-3) to 40 yards rushing in 25 carries.

Scott Stimpfel of South Pasadena completed nine of 15 passes for 110 yards and a 16-yard touchdown to Whorton for the game’s first score.

Michael Olson scored on a 39-yard run for La Canada in the third quarter to trim the lead to 13-6.

South Pasadena fullback In Soo Hwang, who opened huge holes for Whorton, scored on a one-yard run midway through the fourth quarter.
