Glendora 33, Buena Park 10--If Buena Park remembers one thing from Saturday night’s game against Glendora at Citrus College, it will be Antwaiun Gholar. Gholar rushed for 126 yards in 21 carries and scored four touchdowns as Glendora won a nonleague game.

Buena Park looked strong on the first drive and took an early 7-0 lead when Brain McDonald scored on a 12-yard run. After that, the game belonged to Gholar.

Gholar carried the ball nine of the first 10 plays for 72 yards. Gholar capped the drive with a three-yard touchdown run. Gholar scored again on a five-yard run to give Glendora (2-1) a 14-7 lead with 11:35 left in the first half.

Buena Park (1-2) struggled to find a rhythm. After the opening drive, the Coyotes went four and out on four of their seven remaining possessions.

The Tartans took advantage of this, scoring again in the second quarter when Mike Skinner caught a 22-yard touchdown pass from Bruce Hatch for a 20-7 lead with 5:45 left.

Gholar demonstrated one of his other talents at the opening of the third quarter, when he dashed 96 yards on the kickoff return for a touchdown and a 26-7 lead.
