Dedication Set for Santiago Canyon
Santiago Canyon College, the newest community college in the county, will be dedicated Friday.
Marian Bergeson, the state’s secretary of child development and education, will deliver the keynote address.
The campus, formerly known as the Orange satellite campus of the former Rancho Santiago College, gained autonomy in January. Rancho Santiago was then renamed Santa Ana College.
Santiago Canyon, the state’s 107th community college, is at 8045 E. Chapman Ave. Classes were first offered there in 1985.
The public dedication ceremony will include tours. Information: (714) 564-4000.
