OCC to Hold Free Class on Resumes
Orange Coast College will offer a free resume-writing class at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 10.
Students will be taken through each step of crafting a resume, and a lecturer will explain the purpose of the document.
The class is being hosted by the college’s Re-Entry Center, designed to assist people who wish to return to school after breaks in their academic careers. The main purpose is to help people make career changes and learn new job skills.
The center is open Mondays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Tuesday through Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
