Teen Held in Holdup of Pizza Deliveryman
Oxnard police arrested a 17-year-old boy Tuesday morning on suspicion of using a starter pistol to hold up a pizza deliveryman in early March.
The teenager, whose name was not released because he is a juvenile, was arrested in the March 14 holdup after detectives served a search warrant on his home, an Oxnard Police Department spokesman said.
During the search, officers recovered a starter pistol and clothing that matched the description of those used in the robbery, the spokesman said.
The youth, who allegedly has gang ties, was taken into custody without incident, the spokesman said.
