Reading of ‘Karoo’
James Woods, Daniel Stern, Swoozie Kurtz and Matt Malloy will read from “Karoo,” a novel by Oscar-winning screenwriter Steve Tesich, Saturday at 4 p.m. at the Writers Guild Theatre, 135 S. Doheny Drive, Beverly Hills.
Tesich finished “Karoo” just before his death in 1996. His screen credits include “Breaking Away,” “Eyewitness” and an adaptation of John Irving’s “The World According to Garp.” Tesich also wrote the play “Division Street” and another novel, “Summer Crossing.”
