Court Refuses Leaves for Hinckley

John W. Hinckley Jr., President Reagan’s would-be assassin, lost a bid for occasional freedom after the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals noted testimony that he had become infatuated with a pharmacist at his mental hospital, just as he once had been with actress Jodie Foster. The court found that Hinckley, 42, remains “a dangerous individual with a history of deception.”
