OCC Dance Team Wins National Title

Besting both two- and four-year colleges, the Orange Coast College dance team captured the United Spirit Assn.’s national title last month at the Anaheim Convention Center.

Routines performed at the show were good enough to topple Mt. San Antonio College of Walnut and Salt Lake City Community College, the second- and third-place winners, respectively.

Team members have won the Universal Cheerleading Assn. national finals in Orlando.
