England Mops Up After Floods
Major tourist areas in central and eastern England were back up and running last week after some of the worst flooding there in this century. In Stratford-on-Avon, Shakespeare’s hometown, the River Avon flowed into a favorite tourist haunt, the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. Weekend shows were canceled, but the theater reopened last Monday.
