Yosemite National Park is dropping Sunday-to-Thursday rates on its 266 housekeeping units from $44.50 to $25 today to May 21; Friday-Saturday rates remain $44.50 per night. The units, built on concrete slabs with three walls and a canvas curtain, sleep up to four. Reservations: (209) 252-4848. . . . The interior of the Great Pyramid (Cheops) in Giza, Egypt, will be closed for eight months, starting this month, for restoration and installation of a ventilation system, according to the Egyptian Tourist Authority. . . . Walt Disney World in Lake Buena Vista, Fla., due to open its much-publicized Animal Kingdom attraction Wednesday, will also raise park admission prices the same day, from $42.12 to $44.12 for adults (10 and over) and to $36.04 for children 3-9. The rates were last raised early last year.
