Mirage Named One of ‘98’s ‘Greenest’ Vehicles
Mitsubishi Motor Sales of America Inc. says its 1998 Mirage has been named one of the dozen “greenest” vehicles of the year by the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy.
The council recently published its rankings in its Green Guide to Cars and Trucks, which provides the first-ever comprehensive environmental ratings for every 1998 vehicle sold in the United States.
The Green Guide bases its ranking on vehicles’ environmental impacts including air pollution, global warming, fuel efficiency and the amount of recyclable materials used in their manufacture.
