Northern Ireland
As a native of the same County Tyrone in Northern Ireland, I was deeply saddened by Bernadette McAliskey’s column (“Sinn Fein Should Just Say No,” Commentary, April 23).
Northern Ireland at this time needs leaders of vision, courage and common sense, not extremists who seek to prolong the struggles of the past, in pursuit of dreams unrealistic at this time. I have confidence that Irish voters will vote for peace on May 22, not the continuation of violence.
