Hikes in 3 City Taxes Approved by Voters
Voters in Inglewood went to the polls Tuesday to vote on three tax measures. The measures, were approved:
* Measure 98-A: Raising the city parking tax from 5% to 10%.
Yes 2,069 59.1%
No 1,438 40.9%
* Measure 98-B Transient Occupancy Tax: Increase hotel room tax charged in the city from 12% to 14%.
Yes 2,129 60.8%
No 1,372 39.2%
* Measure 98-C: To increase the tax paid at entertainment facilities with a seating capacity of more than 22,000 to 10% of price of the ticket.
Yes 2,104 60.3%
No 1,387 39.7%
