Going Hollywood
You know your comeback is complete when Noah Wyle, star of NBC’s red-hot doctor drama “ER,” is cast to play you in a TV movie.
Wyle--a.k.a. Dr. John Carter--is negotiating a deal to portray the young Steve Jobs in TNT’s made-for-TV movie “Pirates of Silicon Valley,” expected to air on the cable network next year, according to Variety magazine. The movie, about the early rivalry between Jobs’ Apple Computer and Microsoft, will also feature former brat-pack nerd Anthony Michael Hall in the role of the young Bill Gates, according to the magazine. Production is set to begin in October.
