‘Beverly Hills Ninja’

A Japanese martial arts clan is taught that a white child will one day appear to become the greatest ninja of them all. Sure enough, at the beginning of the lively, funny 1997 comedy, a steamer trunk with a white male baby inside washes up on the beach near the clan’s retreat. But the kid grows up to be hefty Chris Farley, pictured, the world’s klutziest ninja, who winds up in Beverly Hills coming to the aid of a blonde (Nicollette Sheridan) whom he believes is a lady in distress. Featuring a hilarious Chris Rock (Showtime Saturday at 8 p.m.).
