Title chase: Santa Ana (15-11, 7-3) and Fullerton (19-7, 7-3) are tied for first in the Orange Empire men’s basketball race, but Santa Ana has the edge, hosting three of its final four games.
Fullerton is on the road for three of the final four, with the only home game Feb. 18 against Santa Ana. Home teams hold a 23-17 advantage in conference.
Santa Ana won twice last week, beating Irvine Valley and Riverside. “It’s good to be playing at home,” Santa Ana Coach Dana Pagett said, “but we just won two straight big games on the road.”
