School Projects List Available to Public
A list detailing more than 900 projects to be completed if voters approve a $97-million bond measure in April will be available today at the Conejo Valley Unified School District’s planning department.
Facilities manager Sean Corrigan has spent several months--since the first bond failed in November--fleshing out the project list for the district’s 26 campuses.
The 22-page report shows the various modernization upgrades and repairs needed at each school. Much of the bond money would pay for underground maintenance on aging pipes and drainage systems, as well as computer wiring, air conditioning, painting and paving projects.
District officials will hold a series of community forums where they will demonstrate through slide presentations the declining state of the 30-year-old campuses.
The first forum is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. March 2 in the district’s boardroom at 1400 E. Janss Road in Thousand Oaks.
