Group Home Seeks Easing of Parking Rule
Amid complaints by neighbors, officials of a group home for abused and neglected children and their mothers will ask the Planning Commission on Wednesday to ease parking restrictions.
The proposed change would allow clients of Eli Home to use six parking spaces on the property. The home’s conditional-use permit allows the parking spaces to be used only by employees or for deliveries.
Meanwhile, code enforcement officials have received more than 60 complaints from residents about alleged permit violations at the home. Many of the complaints involve parking issues in the upscale Anaheim Hills neighborhood.
The meeting begins at 1:30 p.m. in the council chambers, 200 S. Anaheim Blvd. Information: (714) 765-5139.
