4.5 Quake Rattles Plumas County

A 4.5 magnitude earthquake struck rural Plumas County on Tuesday about 120 miles northeast of Sacramento. There were no reports of damage or injuries.
The U.S. Geological Survey said the quake occurred at 2:09 p.m. about two miles northwest of Portola, a small fishing and ranching community on California 70.
