Volunteers Sought for Tree-Planting Event
In observance of Arbor Day, the city and Fullerton Beautiful will sponsor a tree-planting program March 14.
Volunteers are being sought to help plant trees on the south side of Bastanchury Road, between Adlena Place and Valley View Drive, from 9 a.m. to noon. Volunteers are being asked to bring shovels and buckets and wear gloves and sturdy shoes.
If it rains, the planting will be postponed to March 21, city officials said.
