Council OKs $250,000 to Remodel Buildings
Changes at the civic center and Police Department will be made under a $250,000 project approved this week by the City Council.
The city will spend $178,715 to build a conference room at the civic center and remodel to comply with the federal Americans With Disabilities Act.
The council also agreed to pay $85,000 to improve the Police Department’s squad room and locker room, and create a juvenile detention area and food storage and preparation space for the jail.
