Update--Olson wouldn’t say whether he will start Bennett Davison, who has been a bit lackluster, or hustling Eugene Edgerson at forward. It’s a key position, especially since Arizona was badly outrebounded in two losses to UCLA last season. Jelani McCoy won’t start in this, his second game back from suspension, but should play more than the 14 minutes he played Tuesday against Illinois. Arizona and UCLA, winners of the last seven conference titles, haven’t opened the Pacific 10 Conference schedule against each other since the 1992-93 season.
