5 Boy Scouts Earn Group’s Highest Rank

Five La Palma Boy Scouts recently earned the organization’s highest advancement, Eagle Scout, joining the top 2% of Scouts nationwide.

They are: Jay Chung, 18; Amit Desai, 16; Ryan Grover, 18, Eric O’Neal, 17; and Yatin Patel, 19.

To earn the rank of Eagle Scout, candidates must accumulate at least 21 merit badges and successfully complete a community, church or school-related service project.
