Dance Offers Girls a Night Out With Dad
Daddy’s little girl will become Cinderella for an evening Feb. 7 at the city’s annual father-daughter dance.
City officials say there’s still room for about half a dozen more couples.
“We think it’s a good thing for dads and daughters to spend time together,” said Quinn Connolly, city recreation coordinator. “From the responses we’ve had, moms spend more time with daughters and it really makes girls feel special to have a night alone with the dads.”
The dance, which will be held at City Hall from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., is geared for girls 5 to 10, although the city is somewhat flexible on age, Connolly said.
The cost is $25 for both father and daughter. Reservations: (714) 707-2680.
