Robert E. Grice Jr. has joined Santa Ana-based ObjectAutomation Inc. as chief financial officer. Grice had been executive vice president of finance and chief financial officer at Simulation Sciences Inc. Before that, he was chief financial officer at Smith Micro Software Inc. in Irvine, Newport Systems Solutions in Newport Beach and Maxa Corp. in Glendale.
