Biopool Names Head of Marketing, Development

Biopool International in Ventura has appointed Clayton H. Duke to the newly created position of vice president for marketing and business development, effective Aug. 1.

Duke previously held senior management positions with B. Braun Medical, Abbott Laboratories and E.R. Squibb and Sons and was president and CEO of Cymed, a medical device start-up company.

The company also announced that Keith Gould, executive vice president for sales and marketing, resigned effective July 10 to pursue other activities.

Biopool develops and manufactures test kits to assess and diagnose blood disorders.
