Electric Cars to Gain Recharging Station
A new charging station for electric cars will be unveiled at The Oaks shopping mall Saturday at 10 a.m.
City and county officials will be on hand to celebrate the new station at the entrance of the United Artists theater. The public will get a chance to test drive an electric car.
An exhibit of the cars opened inside the mall July 11 and will conclude Saturday.
Locations of other charging stations in the county include Thousand Oaks City Hall; the Costco stores in Oxnard, Simi Valley and Westlake Village; and the Oxnard Hilton.
